Everything a general dentist should do
- Checkups and cleaning. A proper exam, x-rays where they're needed, and scaling to shift the build-up a toothbrush can't. This is the appointment that stops the expensive ones happening.
- Fillings, crowns and bridges. Cavities filled, cracked or worn teeth rebuilt, gaps bridged. Tooth-coloured materials so the repair isn't the first thing anyone notices.
- Root canals. When the nerve inside a tooth is infected, a root canal clears the infection and keeps the tooth. Modern root canals are far less unpleasant than their reputation.
- Extractions. Sometimes a tooth can't be saved, or a wisdom tooth is causing trouble. We'll always tell you honestly whether removal is genuinely the better option.
- Dentures. Full or partial, fitted properly so they stay put and you can eat normally. Fit is most of the battle and it takes more than one appointment to get right.

Our front desk calls, works out a time that suits you, and tells you what to bring. If you have insurance, have the details handy.
Exam, x-rays and a clean
We look at everything properly rather than just the tooth that's bothering you, take x-rays if they're needed, and clean.
A straight conversation
You hear what we found, what it costs, and how urgent it genuinely is. Nothing gets booked before you've agreed to it.

New patient questions
I haven't been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?
No. It's genuinely one of the most common things we see, and people avoid dentists for all sorts of reasons: cost, a bad experience years ago, or simply never getting round to it. None of that is interesting to us. What's interesting is where your teeth are now and what order to deal with things in.
Tell the front desk when they call, and we'll give the appointment a bit more time so nothing feels rushed.
How often should I actually come in?
For most adults, every six months for a checkup and cleaning. Some people need to come more often, usually because of gum disease or a high cavity rate, and some can stretch it further. You'll get a straight recommendation for your own mouth rather than a default.
Do you see children?
Give us a call and ask. Rather than list an age range on a website that might not match the appointment you actually need, the front desk will tell you plainly whether we're the right fit for your child.
What should I bring?
Your dental insurance details if you have coverage, a list of any medications you take, and anything you want to ask about. If you've had x-rays somewhere else recently, it's worth mentioning so we don't repeat them unnecessarily.
